About Laois Hockey Club
Laois Hockey Club was founded in 2023 as an amalgamation of Portlaoise Ladies Hockey Club (Senior Ladies Teams) and Abbeyleix Hockey Club (Junior Teams).
Training takes place for all age groups in Fr Breen Park in Abbeyleix:
- Senior Ladies Training every Tuesday - 2nds Team Training 7 - 8 pm & 1st Team Training 8- 9 pm
- Youths Hockey Training: Sundays 9.30-10.30am
The Senior Ladies 1s will compete in Division 6 of the Leinster League in the upcoming 2023/2024 season, having finished the 2022/2023 season by finishing at the top in Division 7. The Senior Ladies 2s team was formed in the 2022/2023 season and will complete in Division 11 in the 2023/2024 season.
