Laois Inter 1’s played North Dublin HC this morning in the national sports complex, Dublin.

It was a unfortunate start with North Dublin winning a penalty corner resulting in a goal. Laois continued to battle as a team.

Shortly after, winning a short corner. Orla Duggan took a brilliant shot from the top of the D and Abigail Clarke (captain) finishing it off nicely with a deflection. Making it a perfect end to half time.

Laois held nearly all of the possession in the second , won a series of short corners but were unlucky.

Near the end North Dublin put pressure on our backs but they stepped up, and the score was still 1-1 when the whistle blew.
