Laois returned to Wicklow today with the hope to secure a place in the division 9/10 cup semi finals. 

The Laois side started strong but an early injury led to the team having no subs. Despite this Laois kept up the pressure with some action in the circle and a few short corners. Caroline and the stellar backline kept denied Wicklow from scoring, despite the onslaught of short corners. Laois were rewarded in the 3rd quarter scored by Evana and Gloria. Despite feeling exhausted by the final quarter, every player on the pitch dug deep in order to prevent Wicklow from scoring and secure a place in the semi finals.
